The Hornets were an avian species with some insect-like qualities, such as a stinger. By heraing their name, they can be confused for the hornets on Earth and thought of as an insect species. They came to Earth to invade. They possessed stuffed animals and the director of a factory. They thought Michael "Crow" would be a good host, but he avoided this by escorting them to his home. They had some telepathic-possesion abilities. They encountered the Scarrons and had several conflicts with them. When the Scarrons finally decided to invade the Local Group. The Hornets where the first to ooppose them. They then went to destroy the Scarrons. Michael arrived with the Zepplievians and defeated both races.
